Free and always will be.* eJobLanding.com provides a free, online Recruiting System. Job seekers can post their resumes and apply for jobs. Will never charge job seekers for anything, period. Employers, recruiters and staffing agencies can post jobs, search the resume database, and interface will social media for no fee. In the future we will eventually charge to be a featured employer and there are currently places to advertise on the website. This is how we hope to support the site. We are also working on ways to post with pay boards. This will be a fee to them not to us. We are looking to add more features as time and resource permit.
JOBS ONLY! Employers, recruiters, and staffing agencies should post only jobs and events related to jobs such as job fairs. No Services are to be posted. Use the advertising postings if you are trying to sell something. No resume writing services, no educational opportunities, no career preparation services. If you are going to charge the job seeker a fee, please do not post it as a job. We reserve the right to terminate any accounts that appear not to be related to the actual filling of a position or group of positions, and we will be watching.
Why eJob Landing?
eJob Landing is meant to be a place where people and jobs come together. When I was going through an extended period of unemployment I was impressed by the number of people trying to make money from people looking for work. While there are several very good, legitimate services there are a lot that are not. Of the ones that are not so good; some play against the job seekers sense of frustration and in some cases desperation, other charge way too much money, some are not qualified to provide the service they provide, and some are just plain scams.
For the job seeker we wanted a place where they will find only jobs. There will be some advertising to be sure, but will never charge the job seeker a cent. For employers I wanted to provide a free place to post jobs. Employers will also be able to search the resume database for free and well as work with social media. In the future we hope to offer services that allow for seamless posting to commercial boards. We are still working on that. The system also provides basic applicant tracking functionality to will be very helpful for small to mid-sized businesses that do not have applicant tracking systems.
* There are places to advertise and post jobs outside of eJob Landing, and we will eventually charge for being a featured employer and we may add other pay services in the future. But the standard site will always be free, and will never charge job seekers for anything.
